Ivanhoe Waverly Hundred HOA Meeting August 26, 2009

 

Meeting was called to order at 7:35 pm by Val O'Connor, seconded by Tina Franetic.

Board of Directors in attendance: Tina Franetic, Val O'Connor, John Ayala, Levi Tyler and Frank Milone.

     32 people in attendance.

 

We started the meeting with two different guest speakers from two different property management

companies, each speaking for about 45 minutes, explaining their services and taking questions.

 

Treasury Report - Jonathan Klein

                       End of month Bank Balance for July $77,415.65

                       4,122.97 checks written

                      

Facility Maintenance

                     The lid of the box at the Stirling Rd. entranceway was painted.   

                     The east wall at Stirling had the graffiti painted over.          

 

Violations- John and Levi                  

                   

                    The airboat got a code enforcement letter but the boat was back out again.

                   

Architecture-Frank

                    Letters are being requested for approval but not enclosing self addressed stamped envelopes

                    in them.

                                                          

Town of Davie-Tina

                    The no soliciting signs and crime watch signs have not been ordered yet.

                                       

Insurance-Jonathan

                  Jonathan not at the meeting.  

                   

New Business

                                                         

                   Paul Musser volunteered to be the new Director of Maintenance. We discussed the need for

                   a new landscaper and asked for suggestions.

                   Questions were raised about how often the property manager would visit our neighborhood

                   to inspect for violations. It was questioned whether they would be effective over the boat

                   situation and golfcarts in the area. It was asked whether the contract cost would go up in

                   future years. It was questioned whether the property manager would take calls and emails

                   from residents outside the board members to report violations.

 

               

Meeting adjourned at 9:20 pm by Tina Franetic, Val O'Connor seconded the motion.
