Treasury Report - Val O'Connor
Book Balance as of March. 24th is $94,613.15
checks written for March were $6903.00
There are 35 assessment checks that are late, two certified late letters have been mailed.
Facility Maintenance - Val O'Connor
The landscaper planted flowers and plants at the different entrances which adds color to
the landscaped areas that were affected by the cold weather.
Violations- The Property Management company did not send us a report this month but hopefully will
before future meetings. The park ranger called this past month alerting us that some people
are walking their dogs without leashes in the park and not cleaning up after them. If this
doesn't stop then dogs will no longer be able to come into the park. Cars are being parked
on the FP&L easement on Sedgewyck Circle E. One car in particular has been parking
there for months on end. We discussed who should take care of this, the police or property
management. Someone is putting stickers on people's cars saying that their car will be towed
away. We determined it must be a homeowner because the board nor the property manager
is doing it. We discussed whether we can get signs put up by the Town of Davie that read
No Parking, Towing Enforced. It was discussed that the property manager is not doing enough
as far a violations and we want her to be more aggressive. It was also mentioned that her coming
at 11am is not effective, that she needs to come more towards the evening time when more of
the violations are occurring. It was also mentioned that she doesn't return phone calls and is
sending out some letters for violations that aren't violations and we need to address it.
It was discussed that trucks, including pick up trucks, that have garbage in the bed of the truck
as well as a ladder is a commercial vehicle and not allowed to park all night in the driveway.
It was mentioned that an individual wanted to see the speed limit lowered to 25 and speed
humps put in but the discussion was that this had already been researched by the city and they
decided against it for our area.
Architecture-Frank
A patio roof replacement was approved.
Town of Davie-Tina
The playground equipment finally came in and is being installed and work is being done in that
area. It was suggested to get them to put a canopy over the playground so it wouldn't be in
direct sunlight.
Insurance
