Minutes of Meeting – May 24, 2006
Meeting called to order at 7:38 p.m.
Present: Tina Franetic, Jonathan Klein and Nancy Baker
A. Minutes of previous meeting, April 26, read by Nancy, accepted by Tina and seconded by Jonathan.
B. Treasurer’s Report: Current Balance $88,056.39 – all bills have been paid as of today.
Two not reflected in balance. Late assessments sent to Backer as he is handling this matter. Jonathan received estoppel letter and request for release of lien on home. Lien was from 1998 and not resolved. Backer is calling mortgage broker to resolve.
C. Violations – Jon wrote 15 courtesy letters and mailed with a due date of May 29 to resolve shutters, roof tiles, rust damage, garden mold, algae and yards.
D. Architecture – Frank not present – Nothing to report

E. Facility Maintenance –DOE fixed landscaping and weeds, mulched. Replaced caladiums on Dykes entrance. Stirling entrance looks neat. Dying trees along park – Alan to call and will request oak trees.
F. Town of Davie – Nancy had nothing to report.
G. Insurance – No new news
H. Old Business – Jon started letter to homeowners regarding getting ready for new hurricane season and hadn’t finished it. Regarding the shutter situation – when hurricane warning issued, shutters okay to put up. When all is over, okay to keep shutters in the back of house in place until the season is over.
