Ivanhoe Waverly Hundred HOA Meeting September 24, 2008

 

Meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm by Alan Hollinger, seconded by Tina Franetic.

Board of Directors in attendance: Tina Franetic, Val O'Connor, John Ayala, Alan Hollinger, and Levi Tyler.

      2 people in attendance. One was Daniel Espinosa, the store Manager of Walgreens who came out to greet us and tell us about the promotions going on at Walgreens. The second person was Renee Grutman who is the Administrative Aide to Commissioner Lois Wexler of District 5 of Broward County, who came to the meeting to ask us if we needed anything.

 

Treasury Report - Jonathan Klein

                                              

                                               Jonathan  not at the meeting.    

                       End of month Bank Balance is $67,003.63

                       13 checks written in the amount of $8503.51, 1 deposit of  $715.87

                       There are 3 liens on homes at the present.

                  

Facility Maintenance-Alan

                     Alan said that he thought the landscaping looks great at Stirling Rd. but not sure about

                     Dykes Rd. entrance.

                     The lights have not been working correctly for two years on the Stirling Rd. entrance.

                     The other lights at the entrance have all been replaced.

 

Violations- John, Eduardo

                    Everything is status quo. John and Levi went out together and most violations have been

                    dealt with. The boat on Gauntlet Hall is still sitting in front of the home in question. They

                    are violating every law and needs to be dealt with by the attorney.

Architecture-Frank

                      Frank not at the meeting.                 

Town of Davie-Tina

                     Nothing to report.

Insurance-Jonathan

                    Jonathan  not at the meeting.

New Business

                    It was suggested to send out a newsletter talking about a management company taking

                    over unless we can get more interest in the community to come to the meetings and

                    volunteer on the board. We talked about getting a message out before the big election

                    date for our board members.

                    We continued to discuss the need for the sidewalks to be pressure cleaned by a service

                    in the future since they are not being done regularly or improperly and they are an

                    eyesore. Tina said she will get some estimates for the job.

                    It was discussed that on the website we should have home or street recognitions.

Meeting adjourned at 8:40 pm by Val O'Connor, John Ayala seconded the motion.
