6 Homeowners were in attendance.

A motion was made to approve the minutes from the June 25, 2014 Board of Directors Meeting as submitted with one change John Ayala was not present.

New Business:

Val advised that she has been obtaining quotes for lawn maintenance, fertilization and pest control.

Val advised that she recommends that the Association enter into a lawn maintenance agreement with Davey Tree for the lawn maintenance of the common areas and the re-landscaping of the common area entrances. She is awaiting final numbers before formally submitting the proposals to the Board for review and action. Final numbers are expected within the next week.

Tina Franetic advised the the Association By-Laws expire in January 2015 and that they had notified everyone via newsletter and Next Door to inquire as to what changes the Members would like to see made to the By-Laws. Tina reviewed the requested changes to the By-Laws.

Directions to Management:

• Email all ARC's to the entire Board for review before signing off on them.
• Contact the Town of Davie regarding the park landscape (trees and lawn).
• Contact the Town of Davie regarding the pot holes throughout the community.
• Send Val and Tina some documents from other communities so they can review the verbiage.
• Proceed with sending homes to legal for non compliance.
• Contact the Attorney regarding the documents that are expiring in January and the process for making some changes to the By-Laws as well as renewing them: Leasing approvals, violation enforcement, architectural committees, changing the percentage of owners needed to vote.

There being no further business, a motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:50pm.
